TargetTag meters clay targets at the station itself, debits them from the shooter's card as they are thrown, and reports the whole range back to one console — stations, counters, batteries, money and, now, the score.

The problem it solves

A clay thrown without a record is a clay you paid for.

Most ranges meter targets at the counter and trust the field. The gap between what was sold and what was thrown is real money, and it only shows up at inventory time — if it shows up at all.

The counter board sits at the station and watches the thrower itself. A card on the reader is what releases targets, and every release comes off that card's balance.

Each debit carries its box, its card and its timestamp. When the books and the field disagree, you can see which station and which card, not just that the totals are off.

A card is read at the station; the station counter meters the thrower and reports over a LoRa mesh to a gateway at the office, which serves the console and writes to the club database. The red span is the only part that isn't cable. Adding a station means putting a box on it and powering it — there is no run to pull back to the clubhouse.

The referee's call, on the card, as it happens.

The same station box that meters the trap now carries the referee's hit and miss buttons. Calls travel the mesh to the console and land on a live scorecard — in order, so you can see the shape of a round and not just its total.

Honest by design

A shot the radio didn't resolve is a question, not a miss

If a call goes missing, the cell pulses amber with a "?" and is excluded from the percentage until a referee decides it. The system never guesses a result in either direction.

The marks a scorer already writes, in the order they happened. A run and the place it broke are visible at a glance, which a percentage can never show.

Local first, cloud optional

Your range doesn't stop when the internet does.

The system is complete on your own network. The gateway, the console and the database all live at the club. Connecting to TargetTag Cloud adds remote viewing and event control from a phone — it is not a dependency, and pulling the plug on it changes nothing about whether targets are thrown, counted or billed.
