Counter box
Wires to the thrower. Reads the card, releases targets, meters what actually left the machine and monitors the trap battery.

Mesh radio
A small LoRa module per station. Stations relay for each other, so coverage is a property of the fleet rather than of any one antenna.

Gateway
One radio on the club PC. It runs the console, holds live state and writes to your database. This is the only piece that needs the network.

Cards and fobs
The balance and the identity. A card on a reader is the only thing that arms a station, and lifting it closes the visit.

These are the settings a TargetTag fleet ships on. They are adjustable from the console per installation — a tight sporting course and an open trap field are not the same radio problem.

TargetTag installations run on Microsoft SQL Server, and existing sites on the older Advantage-based line can be migrated in place. Customers, keys and transaction history carry across — the console reads and writes the same records your counter staff already use.
